2-Hydroxyethylhydrazine (CAS: 109-84-2) is used as a plant growth regulant, flowering inducer for pineapples, a component in jet fuels, intermediate for organic synthesis especially heterocycles used in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, stabilizers and polymerizations, Chain extender for urethane formulations, corrosion inhibitor. 2-Hydroxyethylhydrazine can be used as intermediate raw material for the synthesis of furazolidone.
