4-Methylimidazole (CAS: 822-36-6) is used for the curing agent of epoxy resin, the main raw material of medicine Cimetidine (CAS: 51481-61-9). It can also be used for synthesis of antibacterial agent. 4-Methylimidazole is a monomethylated imidazole that can be used as a building block in the preparation of a wide range of biologically active compounds.
