4-Hydrazinobenzenesulfonamide Hydrochloride (CAS: 17852-52-7), pharmaceutical intermediate, mainly used in the production of Celecoxib (CAS: 169590-42-5). Celecoxib and Rofecoxib are two specific inhibitors of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) commonly used in clinic at present. They were successfully developed by GD Searle & Pfizer company in the United States and went on sale in 1999, their trade names: Celebrex. Celebrex, this product has significant analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and the incidence of upper gastrointestinal ulcers and other complications is the lowest. Celecoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, which exerts anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting COX-2 to block the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. It is clinically suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
