Aureus topoisomerase IV) and E. Coli DNA helicase (IC50=0.109 μg/ml). Gatifloxacin Sesquihydrate is useful in the study of bacterial conjunctivitis in animal models. Gatifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits DNA gyrase. Gatifloxacin exhibits antibacterial efficacy against Mycobacterium and Streptococcus, treating tuberculosis and pneumonia.
