Carvedilol is a non-selective β-blocker, which can block β1, β2 and α1 receptors on the surface of myocardial cells, it also blocks the alpha 1 receptors of blood vessels. This product blocks the postsynaptic membrane Alpha 1 receptor, thereby dilating blood vessels, reducing peripheral vascular resistance; Blocking beta receptors, inhibiting the secretion of renin by the kidney, blocking the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, resulting in antihypertensive effect. No intrinsic sympathomimetic activity. Compared with the pure β-blockers and α1-blockers, the antihypertensive effect of carvedilol has unique advantages.
