Step 1 Sample
This product is easy to decompose when exposed to moisture, the sampling place should be located in a cool and dry place, sampling (including weighing sample). Appliances should be clean and dry and promptly sampled.
2. Properties
Take 5g sample into a colorless, transparent glass bottle, seal it, place it under natural light, and look at it quickly with the naked eye observe.
Step 3: Purity
Precision weighing sample 0.2g~0.3g into conical bottle. Add glacial acetic acid 35ml, add acetic anhydride 1ml, crystal violet indicator 2 drops. The drop was titrated with 0.1mol/L perchloric acid until the purple disappeared, and blank test was performed.

As a condensation agent for the synthesis of triphosphonucleosides, peptides and esters; And is an important intermediate for the synthesis of acyl imidazole and pyridoxamide, biochemical synthetic group protection and protein peptide chain connection.
Peptide coupling reagent CDI acts as a coupling reagent and utilized for coupling of amino acids in order to prepare peptide in organic synthesis. It is also used in the preparation of beta-keto sulfones, sulfoxides and beta-enamino acid derivatives. It is used to convert alcohols and amines into carbamates, esters, and ureas. It is involved in the preparation of formylized imidazole by reaction with formic acid. Further, it is used in the synthesis of dipolar polyamides compounds. In addition to this, it is considered as an equivalent of phosgene and used to prepare asymmetric bis alkyl carbonate.
CDI is a derivative of imidazole, and its imidazole structure has a closed large P bond, and there is a lone pair of electrons on the sp2 orbital where one nitrogen atom is not bonded. These determine that CDI has strong chemical reaction activity, can react with ammonia, alcohol, acid and other functional groups, and synthesize many compounds that are difficult to obtain by general chemical methods. It is widely used as an enzyme and protein binder, an intermediate in the synthesis of antibiotics, especially as a bonding agent for synthetic polypeptide compounds.
CDI is a zero length crosslinking reagent used to couple primary amines to carboxyllic acid functional groups. CDI reacts with the carboxylate ion (COO-) of proteins or other organic compounds, forming a reactive intermediate that is subsequently reacted with an amino group (-NH2). This reagent can be used to couple two proteins, and is commonly used in protein immobilization to a solid support or membrane. Conveniently, CDI can be used in both aqueous and organic solvent systems.
