Chloroethylene Carbonate (CEC) (CAS: 3967-54-2) is mainly used as Lithium battery electrolyte additives, as well as for synthesis of Vinylene carbonate (VC) and Fluoro Ethylene Carbonate (FEC). At the same time as the intermediate in many synthesis of fine chemical engineering. High purity Chloroethylene Carbonate can also be directly used as flame retardant additive for lithium battery electrolyte to improve the cycling performance and prolong the service life of lithium battery electrolyte.
