Methyl Isonicotinate (CAS: 2459-09-8) is an important organic synthesis intermediate, mainly used in pharmaceutical production, but also a good industrial solvent. With 4-Cyanopyridine (CAS: 100-48-1) as the starting raw material, 65% Sulfuric Acid was used for hydrolysis reaction to generate Isonicotinic Acid (CAS: 55-22-1), then toluene dehydration and 98% sulfuric acid as catalyst for esterification reaction, and finally washed with pure water to neutral, to get the crude product, distillation under high vacuum conditions, vacuum packaging of the finished product.
