Hydrazine Monohydrochloride (CAS: 2644-70-4) can be used as organic synthesis, chemical intermediates, organic reducing agent, pharmaceutical intermediates, organic hydrazine derivatives, soldering fluxes. Hydrazine Monohydrochloride is used to prepare other hydrazine derivatives. Preparation Hydrazine Monohydrochloride is prepared by the reaction of hydrazine with hydrogen chloride: N2H4 + HCl → N2H4 •HCl. Hydrazine Monohydrochloride is used in separating rare earth metals and as a hydrazine source in manufacturing organic compounds as well as other hydrazine compounds. It is used in biologically active material synthesis ( it is used in test blood). It is used as a fungicide. Hydrazine Monohydrochloride has been used: as catalyst in the synthesis of titanium oxide polymers via catalytic sol-gel process in fabrication of amorphous titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin films exhibiting high refractive indices and high transparency in preparation of ethyl 3-Ethoxy-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate.
