(7-Azabenzotriazol-1-yloxy)tripyrrolidinophosphonium Hexafluorophosphate (PyAOP) (CAS: 156311-83-0) is used as a coupling reagent in solid phase peptide synthesis. It is preferred over HATU, because it does not side react at the N-terminus of the peptide. Compared to the HOBt derivates, PyAOP (and HOAt in general) are more reactive due to the additional nitrogen.
PyAOP is a phosphonium salt used as a coupling reagent in solid-phase peptide synthesis, without undergoing side reactions with the amino terminus. PyAOP is a derivative of HOAt.
PyAOP is a phosphonium salt derivative from HOAt used a peptide coupling reagent. PyAOP is stable as a solid and in DMF solution, effective in solid-phase and solution-based peptide synthesis, successful with sterically hindered amino acids, in the formation of cyclic peptides and in the solid-phase synthesis of fluorescently labelled peptides. PyAOP achieves excellent yields at good reaction rates and suppresses racemisation. PyAOP is the pyrrolidino analogue of AOP and was designed with the aim of generating a less-toxic by-product than HMPA, which is produced with AOP.
