This Fmoc-amide linker consists of a substituted benzhydrylamine residue attached to a moiety which can be coupled to commercially available amino-functionalized resins. It constitutes a very useful anchor group for solid phase peptide synthesis, from which the peptide is cleaved by TFA as an amide. An acid labile trialkoxybenzhydryl-type handle idealy suited for the preparation of peptide amides using Fmoc strategy.
