It is a flammable liquid with ammonia smell. It is one of the four isomeric amines of butane, the others being n-Butylamine, sec-Butylamine and Isobutylamine. Used as an intermediate used in the production of: pharmaceuticals, crop protection agents, rubber chemicals, product for chemical syntheses.
