WZ4002 (CAS: 1213269-23-8) is a novel, mutation-selective EGFR inhibitor with an IC50 of 2 nM/8 nM when acting on EGFR(L858R)/(T790M); it has no inhibitory effect on ERBB2 phosphorylation (T798I). WZ4002 is a potent inhibitor of EGFR, exhibiting an IC50 = 2 nM. This induces apoptosis in the cell due to the blocking of signal transduction from EGFR. WZ4002 is effective in the treatment of lung adenocarcinomas due to EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) mutations.
